FCA confirms 33 broker investigations
The results covered firms with permission to trade as a general insurance broker and detailed that eight were into individuals while 25 businesses were the subject of a regulatory probe.
Among the investigations into individuals, four are targeted at people who hold senior management functions.
Across all authorised businesses there are currently 384 open investigations the FCA confirmed breaking down the figure as 248 into individuals and 136 into firms.
