UK unprepared for future terrorism, says research

Over half (52%) of UK companies have taken no measures to prepare for the disruption to their business and employees that a terrorist attack would cause, according to new research.

Consultancy Arup's survey of business managers from mid to large companies highlights concerns among the UK workforce about the preparedness of their organisations to withstand and respond to a major incident, pandemic or supplier failure.

The research also points to growing tensions between employees and employers
