Biba rolls out schemes for excluded customers

New schemes for convicted criminals and flood and subsidence-hit houses have been launched by the British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) through Bureau Insurance Services.

The schemes provide members with the ability to source cover for three of the hardest to place non-standard property insurances.

According to Graeme Trudgill, Biba's technical services manager, such schemes come into their own when compared to the cover provided by 'cherry picking insurers', with a need to place risks
